Internet Explorer

  1. If using Windows, select Tools, Internet Options.
  2. Select the Security tab and click the Custom Level button.
  3. Under Active scripting, Allow paste operation via script, and Scripting of Java applets, select the Enable option for all three.
  4. Click OK twice. This will take you out of the Internet Options configuration screen. Use your browser's Refresh button to see the changed results.
    NOTE : In Internet Explorer for Windows, you must implement these instructions on the browser window where you are trying to view JavaScript-related content.
  5. If using Macintosh, go to Explorer and select Preferences.
  6. Under Web Browser, click Web Content.
  7. Under Active Content, put a check in the box next to Enable scripting.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Then press Apple-R to refresh the page.

Firefox

  1. If using Windows, go to Tools, select Options and select Content. Then, skip the next step.
  2. If using Macintosh, go to Firefox and select Preferences. Then, click Web Features.
  3. Put a check in the box beside Enable JavaScript.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Then refresh the page (F5 in Windows; Apple-R in Macintosh).

Netscape

  1. If using Windows, it will depend on whether or not you have an older version of Netscape.
    1. For older versions:
      1. Select Edit, then Preferences from the menu bar.
      2. Under Advanced, select Enable JavaScript.
      3. Click OK. This will take you out of the Preferences screen. Use your browser's Reload button to see the changed results.
    2. For newer versions:
      1. Select Tools, Options from the menu bar to go to the options screen.
      2. Choose Site Controls and then check the Enable JavaScript checkbox (on the right hand side).
      3. Click OK. This will take you out of the Options screen.
  2. If using Macintosh, go to Netscape and select Preferences. Then do the following:
    1. Under Advanced, select Scripts & Plug-ins.
    2. Under Enable JavaScript for, put a check in the box beside Navigator.
    3. Click OK.
    4. Then refresh the page by pressing Apple-R.

Safari

    Macintosh

  1. Go to Safari.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Click Security.
  4. Put a check in the box beside Enable JavaScript.
  5. Close Preferences.
  6. Then press Apple-R to refresh the page.

    Windows

  1. Go to Safari.
  2. Select Edit, Preferences.
  3. Click Security.
  4. Put a check in the box beside Enable JavaScript.
  5. Close Preferences.
  6. Then press F5 to refresh the page.

Opera

  1. Select Tools, Preferences.
  2. Select the Advanced tab.
  3. From the right, side of the pane, select Content.
  4. Place a check in the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
  5. Click OK.
