Meet the Staff
Bob Kane, MSPT, is the newest member of the Advantage-Weyers Cave team and started in September 2009. Bob graduated from physical therapy school in 2001 from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia. He grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, and did his undergraduate work (B.S. Biology in 1998) at the University of Utah and University of Alaska Anchorage. He has been working as an outpatient PT in the Shenandoah Valley since graduating with his M.S. in Physical Therapy. Bob has an interest in manual therapy, muscle energy, strain counter strain and other techniques in the treatment of various spine and orthopedic problems. He is married and has a 3-year-old daughter and eight-month-old son that keep him very busy. In his free time he enjoys working on home improvement projects, travel, reading, golf, camping, hiking, fishing, and the outdoors in general.
