is a native of the Shenandoah Valley and has over 10 years of experience in the
Information Technology field and over 5 years in the Counseling field (some of
it as a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Virginia and West Virginia). He
earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Computer
Information Systems from
James Madison
University in 1995 and his Master of Arts degree in Counseling form
Eastern Mennonite University in 1999. His
professional experience includes past work as a Microcomputing Lab
Consultant at James Madision University, a Mainframe Operator Intern for
Merck & Company, Inc., a Help Desk Operator and a PC/Networking
Specialist for WLR Foods, Inc., and both Server Administrator and Technical
Support for Advantage. Currently, in addition to being the Webmaster at
Advantage, Jamie is adjunct faculty for Blue Ridge Community College Workforce
Services and Continuing Education and a Computing Support Analyst in the
Information Technology Department at James Madision University. Jamie is a
CompTIA A+ Certified Professional, Apple Certified Help Desk Specialist,
HDI-Certified Help Desk Analyst, HDI-Certified Help Desk Manager,
Microsoft Office Specialist, and W3Schools Certified HTML Developer
(HTML 4.0, XHTML 1.0, CSS, and CSS2 standards). In his free time, he enjoys
time with his wife and children and leading a men's ministry book study
through his church.
